I am looking for a ring and pinion part # AM 877504.A for a John Deere 1070
John Deere says you have to order and pay for it in advance and they have no idea when they might make it again

Have you tried getting R&P from a Yanmar dealer? Have you tried getting parts from a salvage yard?
