Right Rear Wheel Area-Grinding Noise?

Hi All,
I'm getting a very distinct metal on metal sound coming up from my right rear wheel area on my Brandon 2400h. The sound seems to be most prominent when turning in either reverse or forward. I didn't notice the noise last year prior to putting fluid ballast in the rear tires so not sure if the extra weight is making it more noticeable. It sounds like a car wheel bearing that is going bad. Just wondering if anybody has had this same issue and what the culprit was?

split the brake pedals and see of one side is more grabby than the other

Yes - perhaps the brakes. One is dragging or has a buildup of "crud".

It may be farfetched but did you engage the differential lock and it has failed to disengage?

a) Okay, I'll split brakes this weekend when I have time and see if I can get a different result.

b) Its very clean in that area so not likely dirt, but anything is possible, I'll follow-up this weekend.

c) I have had a very difficult time getting the differential lock engaged in the past and it never seemed to stayed engaged.

Not familiar with the 2400 but my 4720 differential lock needs to be pressed continuously to stay engaged.
