I noticed my '96 Cub Cadet 7274 (4 wheel drive, manual transmission, 400 hours) has started having the right rear brake stick in the on position after I apply it. The brake pedal itself still has movement, but the brake pads seem to be stuck internally. This is the right side only, left brake works fine. I can release the right brake by tapping the brake rod (linkage) backwards with a small hammer (reaching under the side of the tractor). Anybody have some advice for a problem like this ?
Thanks in advance.

BTW, I resolved this problem by performing the brake adjustment exactly as shown in the manual. Brakes work fine now. I'm a little surprised that this worked, but I guess the right brake linkage was overtraveling and hanging up the brake shoes ??? I guess I need a service manual that details the internal parts and workings to better understand what was going on there.
