I have three riding mowers that In inherited from my Dad's place, I just want to sell them but have no idea how much to sell them for, would anyone have a ballpark figure for the following mowers? Thanks.

Allis Chalmers Model 410
Craftsman LT 1000 Model

Found some stuff on ebay:
craftsman lt 1000 | eBay

I found the GS6500 for $102 but there is a brand new one at Sears for about $3000, so it depends on which year you have.

Looks like the AC if it is older is around $100 if it runs.

I wish you were closer, I'd buy one of them!

Hope it helps a little - I'm new to this.

Really wrong time of year to sell. Spring would get you more dollars. State best offer; someone may surprise you. If you get lower offers then you feel comfortable with say no.

I never respond to sellers just saying best offer. If they wont put a price on it, neither will I. State a price you wish for and then put "or best offer" or price then negotiable. That way the potential buyer knows whether to ask for a lower bid price or if it is "firm".

My BIL bought a new 6500 Craftsman about 5 years ago for $2500. He takes pretty good care of it, but the deck is getting thin in places just from wear. Depending on condition of mower ( engine, deck and seat) it could go for a High of $500. The LT 1000 will be a bit harder to sell due to the HP and size which would only be for small yards, $200 might be a good price if seat is still good. That mower was about $1000 new, so adjust price accordingly. That AC must be super old as I haven't seen an Allis Chalmers tractor in years (AGCO now). You would be lucky to sell it for $100 but only if it is in running condition.

Around here a sub 50 inch rider usually sells at auction for $400 to $500 if it runs and the deck spins Might be different where you live but thats what i have seen 3 of them go for in the last couple of months irregardless of brand

Edited to add .. i am speaking to the tractor style mower , i havent even seen a zero turn or what i would call " scooter style " with the engine in back and front steering sell .
