One more thing about the B2650 whine.

I had the dealer put in a bluetooth Sony radio as opposed to the Kubota radio.

I own Bose noise cancelling cordless bluetooth headset (over the ear)

In the event the noise starts bothering me, I will just pair them up and work in blissful peace.

That is my plan, and since the tractor is absolutely perfect in every other way for my needs, this plan corrects the problem. Hope that helps someone out here.

OK, thank you. I appreciate hearing your opinions on it. I listened in the videos and it din't sound too horrible.

I love open platforms, but on days like today where there are high winds and in all directions it really sucks snow blowing. Luckily I have a loader.

Unlike you Sandra I have 6 months of winter, LOL.

How do you find the noise and hydro whine levels in the cab? I keep hearing horror stories about how loud these B's are in the cab.................................................

The whine on my L3200 was loud from new. Before I built the cab, it was annoying when operating it. When I wore a brimmed hat I needed ear plugs. Since building the cab, it's ear protection whenever I use it.

The L4240 whine isn't bad at all. The cab keeps things quieter and it could be the trans is a bit different as well.

The comforts of a cab in the summer are priceless. We are hot enough up here in NC. I'm sure that Florida can be brutal. Congratulations on the cabbed 2650.

I take it y'all don't burn any firewood down there. ;-) Sure got some nice piles of good logs.

That's the thing about the subtropics : not much heating . I burn my unwanted out in the field , when there's no fire risk of course !

This is why I’m conflicted on getting a grapple instead of using my forks. Grapple is way easier to grab and carry when load is wide and unbalanced, but this shows it’s so easy to grab an unbalanced load and put a twist on the FEL, especially if you then clip some other object with the end of the log. Luckily it wasn’t an immovable object and it skipped past. With the forks, the log would just roll off, but dang, it sure looks like you were a foot or two from twisting something.
