Thanks J J for the info on the speed and ft lbs. As the motors were cheap, it would not be out of line to purchase larger motors. My pump has a rating of 10 GPM at 1,000 rpm but lists max RPM of 3000 RPM. Initially I will be running the pump at 1650-1750 rpm with the engine against the govenor. I am crossing my fingers that the motors are more like 5 cubic inch motors and while the speed might be the same (400 RPM is my goal) I should have 50% more torque than in your calculations. I am also looking at a 10inch dia drive wheel wheels so if I can achieve 150 ft lbs into a 10 inch wheel (x 2), I am hoping that will be enough.
