Rhino 2409 FEL

Lotsa good info on this site so I thought I might as well join. Looks like I'm going to be the proud new father of a DK35 thanks to the crew at Group Farm in Bedford. Class act down there. I do have a question to throw out... I didn't feel like waiting for a 1450 loader and they had a Rhino 2409 in stock so I grabbed it. Anyone have any good or bad to say about the loader? I know I got a heavier FEL but I heard rumors of it being kinda slow /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif compared to the 1450....

I bought a 3054 and it came with the Rhino loader on it instead of the Kioti. Dealer said that it was the same loader and that Kioti just sticks a Kioti sticker on them instead of a Rhino. They are made on the same line, just labeled different. At least for the 3054 that is the case.

I remember reading that some people had issues with the 1450 and that someone even had to MODIFY it as soon as they got it. I'm sure they're both fine loaders. I was just looking for a little comparison between the two aside from reading specs or some feedback from someone who owns a Rhino 2409

My DK 45 has a Rhino 2409 loader which I believe is the same as a Kioti 249 loader. I've had no problems with mine and it has lifted everything that I needed it to (probably the heaviest was a heaped bucket of dense grade, and I bet that is as heavy as I'll lift). I think that Kioti gets their loaders from at least two if not three manufacturers. I can't imagine there being anything wrong with the 2409. My Belarus tractor had a Bushhog 2440 qt loader, and I think Bushhog is supposed to make pretty good loaders, and I don't see any drop in quality between the Bushhog loader and the Rhino loader

I think the cylinders on the Rhino loader are black and on the Kioti loader they are orange. Maybe that's the difference.
