Not sure of the name--maybe Nature's Miracle or something like that. They are an enzyme based solution that you soak the material (we used on wood floors) and it removes the odor very well and also stops re-occurring incidents (we had an indoor cat competing with an outdoor cat for territory near the door!!). I've seen it in the grocery store in the pet aisle--along with a couple of other similar products. Even better yet--replace with an upgraded seat!

Second the Nature's Miracle enzyme cleaner, but it costs about $20 a gallon, which might be a good down payment on a new seat.

Recently bought a tractor that has obviously had a tom cat living in it on a cloth seat...Whats the best to get rid of the pee smell..?

Curious. What tractor has a cloth seat?

Oh it doesn't have to be cloth to smell.. I had a weight bench with vinyl bench seat that took a hit from a cat. Tried lots of things but ended up tossing the bench. As for the cat, it died from (high speed) lead poisoning.

Wait it out,
One time I had a coon smell up my combine cab pretty bad as he was living in there probably all winter. long story short, he got his due when he ran between the drive belts while I was starting it up.
now THAT was a mess to power wash off everything in the engine compartment. being fresh blood, guts & hair, it wasn't as lingering as the mess he made in the cab.
I washed the seat/floor with pine-sol and after a year or so, it was mostly gone. Sunshine will will do wonders for braking down the odor.

borax...along with baking soda...cover the entire seat and leave for a couple of days...repeat the process several times

Soak it in diesel for a couple of days, then ignite it, repeat process necessary?

Cat pee is the nastiest stuff. either take the seat all apart, soak, wash, hang out in the wind for 6 months and repeat as needed, or get a new seat.

If you have a UV light, shine it on the seat and surrounding area. Any spots with "organics" will glow. (You have to do this in the dark of course). Then you know where to treat with a product such as Nature's Miracle.

If that does not work, use the method suggested by lawn_king.:D
