Review Kioti CK27 HST

I thougth I'd try one of those self priming siphons for $10. I like that it doesn't require any batteries. For you guys that have the battery operated: How long do the batteries last?

BTW, the self-primng siphon works goods. A little slow, but I just set the 5 gallong can on the hood and walk away until it empties itself. You just have to make sure the tank will hold what's in the can. Takes 3 to 4 minutes to empty.

New to this site, but I'm glad I ran into it. I'm getting ready to buy my first real tractor and was seriously looking at this same tractor in the 2012 model also with the free FEL.

Still have the tractor and still think it's a nice machine. I also have a Deere 3320 and 2720. The Deere 3320 is a better tractor with more loader capability but it is also a lot more expensive. It weights the same but is physically larger.

While I would choose the Deere over the Kioti if I were shopping new, if I didn't have the money to spend I would buy the Kioti in a heartbeat.

I'm confused, you're first entry said you couldn't justify the Deere because of price. The Kioti at that time was your top tractor, now you have 2 Deeres and the Kioti is now at the bottom of the 3?

I did like the Kubota B3030 but it was $6,000 more, and half the weight.

I get the itch to get something newer every so often. Can you add some numbers to clarify? ...dollars, not the weight :). Thanks!

Life changes. My wife and I are separated and she has the Kioti at her place and we live far apart. We have also changed states. My big New Holland is being kept at our common farm to manage the property. I needed something to manage manure and pallets etc, as well as mow with an eye towards managing a small vineyard.

I found a used Deere 3320 at a good price and took it. I have put 55 hours on it in 9 months and I have continued to help my wife and use the CK27. If you bought them new, the Deere is a lot more expensive, I also think it's a step up BUT the Kioti is still a good tractor.

I bought a 2720 to mow and blow snow, as well as move the manure wagon. It's a little smaller than the Kioti although it has similar loader capacity. It's a little more refined than the Kioti and I like the ergonomics and the HST a little better. However, the Kioti has a suspension seat and the 2720 does not for example.

I was fortunate that I was able to find the funds to buy the Deere's. Also, I happen to have a good Deere dealer not too far away and there is not a Kioti Dealer that close.
