reverse pedal hits hydraulic line when fully depressed. also reverse very slow tc45d

I bought my tc45da last fall. I always thought the reverse was very slow. Today I was changing the oil and pushed down on it. And saw it was hitting the hydraulic line. There is also a dent/nick in the line where it was hitting. Is this normal? Is the tractor always very slow in reverse?

You probably need to move or bend the hydraulic line out of the way. The further down you can push the pedal, the faster it will go. I have a tc40da and it goes almost as fast backwards as forward.

here are 2 pictures. how would i bend it? just push on it? or do i need to adjust the reverse pedal?

Can you just loosen the clamp on the pipe and push it forward a little? Hard to tell from the picture if there is enough room. Something needs to move. Look at the pedal, also. Can it bend to the side enough to clear the tubing? Just looks like someone wasn't paying attention when it was assembled.

I loosened the clamp and pulled the hydraulic line forward. So it doesn't hit anymore. I also adjusted the stop screw underneath the pedal and now reverse is much more reasonable goes 2 or 3 times as fast as before. This fixed my biggest complaint with the tractor!
