Maybe ya'll should sell these unused gold watches ... supplement your retirement, whether needed or not.
My wife has gold jewelry she will never miss, she has so much of it, and I have only one gold watch...

When a friend left his utility company job after 14 years for self employment his coworkers got him a gold watch with "the company logo" to remind him of what he was leaving behind. After the grand presentation the "company logo" turned out to be Disney's favorite rodent! MikeD74T
Yesterday marked the ninth anniversary of my retirement, and yes, I was given a gold watch when I left. To be honest, I have never quite understood the reason for that traditional gift, after all, when you jump off the treadmill, doesn't that mean you are no longer a slave to the clock? I almost never wear mine, or any other watch now. How about the rest of you retirees?
It was intended to mean he was leaving the "rat race" behind, huh?
Or a Mickey Mouse company that wouldn't buy him a watch?
WE HAVE A WINNER!!!! MikeD74T
