Retired after 40 years of 8~6 hours a week!!

Hi everyone,

I finally escaped the rat race after 40 years; only to find that I'm now working longer and harder at home than I ever did at my job.

I use to fix cars for much of my life now it's all about the backhoe and tractors I own.

Congrats and welcome to the age of retirement. I have been retired almost two years and a year ago bought a much neglected 5 acres in Arizona. I have not have a real day off since, but am having the time of my life. I never even think of my past life much anymore just way too much to do.

Wish I was retired, but ... I get out of my office job every day around 6 & then go "work" much harder (lifting, pushing, pulling, sweating, breathing) for a few hours at my wilderness property. Way more fun!
