Tractor
Mitsubishi MT210d
Tractor has not been started in several years. I have changed oil, added fuel, bled fuel filter, line into injector and lines into cylinders. it started briefly but died, so I thought it was not fully bled and did so again. No, it nearly starts but not completely. How much fuel should flow into cylinders? What I see when i unscrew the line is a small amount that pulses from the line. If this is normal, any suggestions where I should look next?

thanks

I would check the glow plugs and make sure each has continuity from the tip to the block. A small, pulsing amount of fuel from the line at the injectors is normal. After you get it started, it may sputter or miss every so often, as the residual bubbles of air get cleared out, but it should run well. Without glow plugs, my Mitsubishi engines are often hard to start, and act as if they want to run, but never quite get there.

Sorry for delay in responding to your advice, we have had bad weather. When I got back to tractor I re-bled system, recharged battery and lot and behold, it started. Thanks for your help.
