Included a link for burdock and golden rod. Might as well get some use out of your weeds. My grandma used to be a grey lady and a midwife in the hills of Tennessee and she had notebooks full of what we now call weeds and how to use them. Enjoy!

Thanks!...both very interesting reads. Next time we prepare the burdock root I'll make sure to follow the kinpira gobo recipe carefully..... I was never a big fan of burdock. The dog almost always comes back from his romps covered in them and they seem to somehow alway find there way onto my socks. I also found there's a certain satisfaction in gathering them up for dinner.

Keegs; Have you considered use 2,4-D on your Timothy hay fields? If you have no or very little clover or alfalfa in the field it should do a good job of clearing up the broadleaf "filth". 1.5 pints per acre, $30 a gallon gets you near that $6 per acre mark. Pretty cheap. Please read label and follow instructions.
