I use electrolysis. I remember how rusty and corroded the battery tray was on my old B6000, and was really glad that the process only removed the rust...the tray had been partially eaten away by corrosion and I couldn't afford to lose any more metal... Some disassembly is required...depending on how large a vat you have/make.
