Reset status request

Hi Muhammad,

Would you be so kind as to reset my status to "New Member" or at least "Bronze Member"? I'm embarrassed to be listed as a "Veteran Member" when all I've contributed is a bunch of questions. There are some real veteran members here, and I'm not in their class!! I just ask a lot of questions.. and I don't want people to think that my replies to any question they might ask actually represent any degree of expertise as might be suggested by the title of "Veteran Member." /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Bob, the titles, way they are obtained, and reasons has been described before. But you might also consider the fact that for every question asked and responded to, there are probably at least a dozen or more of us that learn something, so even by asking questions you have "contributed" a benefit to the forum.

Hey Bob,

You've actually vocalized some of my thoughts, although I must admit I hadn't considered asking to be dropped back.

But I would agree with Bird, and add this. In most cases, for every question that is asked, regardless of who asks it, there are a number of registered members and non-registered members (lurkers) that were thinking about the same question but just hadn't asked it yet. If membership status were based solely on experience, I'd venture to say that there would be substantially fewer members than there are now.

However, as some of the others pointed out, you have asked questions and gotten responses which have provided new information or a different view.

If it wern't for all of you Veteran and Star members etc. that have been with the TBN since it's conseption it might not be the fantastic and educational site that it is today.
And if it wern't for all of you either Asking or Answering questions and keeping the TBN alive and growing, it may never have made it this far. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif And the possibility of it not having been around for me to join and learn from is just to Horrendous a thought to even consider. /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif
