Replacing L5740 Battery

They sure put it in an easily accessible spot. It looks like I need to remove the air filter to get it out? Is that the easiest route? Any other suggestions?

No no no... Take the side and front cover off.... Unplug the headlights and a couple wingnuts and you've got it.

I get that this thread is 8 years old, but I just found it very helpful. Was even able to slide the front cover out (up) with the grill guard and loader on.
