Hi all- I'm new here so please be patient with me.
I have a 2006 John Deere 3320 (300 hours). The quick connect bracket for the front bucket has been bent downward and now it appears the fitting/line two out from the tractor frame is leaking.
It looks as if it is the hydraulic line and not the connection as the fluid leaks along the rigid tubing, like perhaps the tubing is cracked. Problem occured earlier this year and is getting continually worse to the point fluid shoots out when the front bucket is moved.
I am looking for guidance on how best to disassemble the machine to replace the line (or to test the line). To my untrained eye it appears I must disassemble the quick connects in sequence to break the system apart at the front of the tractor. Then it looks like I would need to remove the right rear tire and fender to access the rear of the hydraulic line.
Does anyone know if this is accurate or is there an easier, more direct way to replace the part? Better yet, is there an effective way to verify what/where the leak is prior to complete disassembly? Once the machine is apart, what else should I do as maintenance while I'm there?
