Has anyone tried to replace their existing B2400 anti-sway links with the new links designed for the B2710 / B2910? They look like a direct replacement, and they appear to be a better design than the turnbuckle. Any thoughts / comments are appreciated.

Some of the parts are interchangable. I wrote to Carver and asked for a quote for the parts, but never got a final answer. My local guy says the parts are about $350.
For my money I'll continue to turn the buckle. There are some differances in the way the link arms connect.

The real advantage is the ratchet leveling adjuster. I am sure that part can be retrofit to other models. Some creative thinking has produced a solution for the lower arms as well. But the cost is just too high for me considering what I might get back out of the arangement. I am still waiting to see if Carver comes up with better prices.
I did it to my B7500. The dealer swapped my brand-new turnbuckles for the telescoping bars for peanuts. They are a lot easier to use than the turnbuckles. The holes are unevenly spaced in the inside bar, and that makes them almost infinitely adjustable. If you decide for some reason you want the attachment to be 4" to the right or left, just lift it off the ground, pop the pins, swing it over and replace the pins......................chim
Thanks for the info. I had been thinking about this ever since I saw the new links, but I finally got the nudge when my turnbuckle threads got stripped. With the telescoping link design, it seems the worst thing that could happen is elongation of the adjustment holes (replacing the adjustment pins seems pretty minor).
I'd be happy to give you the numbers if I could locate them. Unfortunately I can't find the slip. The dealer looked them up on the computer and ordered the parts, and swapped me for my brand new turnbuckle type plus $50. I think he told me the parts listed for around $120 if I would have just bought them straight out. It was an easy swap - just note that the shaft they mount to on the tractor end has a setscrew with a dimple in the middle that needs loosened so you can slide it left and right. At least that's how my 7500 is. Sorry I can't be of more help...............chim
Chim,
Thanks for the quick reply, Im going to head down and see what my dealer can do for me cause it sure would be a lot easier than them turnbuckles and cotter pins.
