Hi everyone. Anybody know where to get a replacement front wheel for a 4wd model? I know the dealer is gonna be high, so is there any salvage places that are reputable and easy to work with? I just bought this 2 weeks ago and have loved it, I've done several points of maint. to it in the small amount of time that I have had it, but I noticed that it was missing a wheel bolt, one on both fronts, and that the left front is cracked. I took it off and tried to weld it but I know its not going to work due to the strees on the hub area.
Thanks in advance.

Wow, just got a price from the local dealer.... $264.00. Seems high to me but my perception is probably not clear on the prices for tractor parts???:confused2:

Lots of people would try to improvise around that problem, rather than pay that kinda price. Ken Sweet

Various new/used NH wheels are on ehay on a regular basis. That wheel should hold up fine if done by a professional welder.

AAgghh, I cant stand it Sweep, you got to me, I am a welder, state certified at that, that is just too lazy to fix it. I was just holding out seeing if it was a cheap and easy to get wheel but alas it is not, so I guess I'll get to breaking out the TIG this weekend and fix it right.:ashamed:

This is my first trip around wheel fixing folks. If I have one with a rusted-out area around the valve stem (front 20 x 8 turf)...is it possible to just weld that area up and drill a new valve-stem hole?

Is it that simple?
