Replacement Snow Plow Cylinders - Quality vs $$ ??

Thanks for all the good info/thoughts. The first hand experience especially. I bought this plow 2 years ago to convert to a tractor plow. The cylinders were badly pitted when I bought it and the plan was to replace them if the plow worked out on my tractor. They are so bad that they are not worth rebuilding. I guess it is a crap shoot on replacement. Pay the least and expect the worst so I'm not disappointed may be the way to go ????????

Another option would be to use one double acting cylinder of the proper length.

I got the new RCPW (Replacement Commercial Parts Warehouse) cylinders via FEDX today. This is what they look like. I can assure you that reflection along the side is not a rub or scratch. Just something with the lighting and my camera lens I guess. It will be a while before I get them on the plow and hopefully quite a while before I need to plow. I will try to remember to report back then.

Since the time is getting close I thought I better get these cylinders on the plow. There were no gotcha's or surprises. They fit like they should and operated like they should. They are spec'ed for 2500 psi. I double checked the cross-over relief valve settings at 2200 psi with the tractor hydraulic capable of 3000 psi. All worked fine. So now we need some snow.
