Replacement rims

Just purchased a Craftsman garden tractor - 25hp Kohler, 54" deck. It has 23x10.50x12 rear tires. These of course are turf tires, but I'd like to get some ag type tires to use with ground engaging equipment later. I really don't want to have to change tires all the time, so wanted an extra set of rims to mount the tires on. Figured it would be a lot easier just to swap each time. Sears wants $95 apiece for them and frankly, that just ain't going to happen! Surely someone out there sells these rims cheaper than that. My search so far hasn't turned anything up, but I may be looking in the wrong place. Any suggestions? Thanks.

It is myunderstanding that MTD makes most of the Craftsman running gear. They might be able to provide a better price on the rims. I would contact them at www.mtdproducts.com and send them an email, providing whatever Sears part number you have. You might also take a tire and rim to a local lawnmower repair shop to find out if they have a matching used set that would work. They could probably order the tires you want, also.

AYP also makes alot of Craftsman tractors. What is the model number of the tractor or better yet the part number of the rims & I will do a little searching?

Sears model no. is 917.276090, Part no. is 106277X624. This particular garden tractor was built by Electrolux (Poulan folks). Thanks.
