I am just wondering if JD will be replacing or updating the 3000 twenty series tractors. It's a model that's been around for seven years. Any rumors?

The initial model has been around for 7 years but a fair amount of rolling changes in 20011. I would imagine when the model # changes to the worldwide model #'s (ghp in the model name). The changes will be along similar rolling changes as in a feature here and there and possibly minor cosmetic changes but I would not expect a drastic overhaul of the basic tractor.

The 4000 Twenty series has been around a year longer than the 3000 Twenty; haven't yet heard about a replacement for it either.

Thanks.
I just ordered a 2012 replacement for my 05' 3720. I've been waiting for an updated model, but it looks like the design will be around for quite a while longer.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. With th success JD has had with the xx20 tractors, I'm not surprised. The 3320 I had was a very nice machine 5 years ago.

The model number will not change to the "new" Series/GHP/Spec style until there is a major change in the machine.

I like a little change, but I guess this isn't a car.
I have had absolutely zero problems with my tractor, zero. Awesome machine in every category. The 300CX has also been flawless. Great design.
The original 72" 7 iron deck does have some design flaws, most notably the gauge wheel design. They bend and break often, especially the back mounts. They also dig the crap out of the lawn when reversing. So, I am very excited to get the new Auto Connect deck, and the updated designed wheels.
