Replacement for a B7800

What would be a good replacement for the b7800, i dont really keep up with these things i got a b7800 with a la402 loader , and a 3pt backhoe attachment.

i see the b3300su is nice but people say its just a low price model to compete with others.

also i see the b3400? seems to be close

what is the difference in the L3700su compared to the b3300su.
you can get both in HST. i dont know what make a L series diff than a B
could figure it out on kubota's site but i had to keep going back and forth to compare

I had a B7800 HST FEL for three years. Great tractor. I have hill side property. Traded the B7800 for a L3240 HST. Difference was about 1700 lbs and near same HP. The L was scarier on the hillside property (sitting higher off the ground) so traded it in a few months to a B3200 HST FEL.
If I had flat land I'd prefer the L3240HST FEL because of weight and FEL power..

Watch out for the L3700... It doesn't have a suspension seat, that would be a major deal breaker. TOO much of a bare bones model for me... Not sure about the B3300su. The "L" models are bigger and heavier... what do you plan to use the tractor for? or why do you need to replace the B7800?

I started out looking to buy the B7800 and ended up buy the L2800.

If you are looking for an exact replacement, then a B3200 is what you would want. It is 100% the same tractor, just with different sheet metal and a more modern looking loader and backhoe (specs are basically the same.) Also has an integrated loader joystick.

Or do you want something similar to the B7800 just a little bigger?

B7800 = new B3200, B3300su has one more HP but no Midmount Mower/ mid pto not available. next up the food chain is B3030 a "deluxe" model and about $4000 more than B3200. New L models are about 4 inches taller, 30 HP and up, Grand L model is deluxe model and larger still.
I went from smaller B (about size of B2320) to Grand L, toooooooo tall and tippy, which is why I had to sell it. About to order B2920, although B3200 is only about $750 more and about 3 inches higher, same size as B3030, hard decision, driving me crazy, B3030 is a deluxe model with position control which many here prefer, have also thrown in the mix looking for used B3030 with low hours, but in end I will probably go with the B2920............. or maybe the B3200...............found a B3030 with only 100 hours...............................hate this.

i have somebody looking to possibly buy the b7800 and was thinking if i could trade out for a few dollars:laughing: why not.
poss. thinking about the next size or the same equiv.
i haul wood ,push trees over, dirt , rocks , a little maintenance grading. and because of the backhoe , i use another tractor for the 3pt attachments.

as i have not kept up with the models, and optionsm, so i'm not familar with

guess i'll have to get on kubota's site , not sure what deluxe includes, or what position controls is? sounds like quite of bit more CASH!

if you do not need the 3 point attachments, the b3200 with 32 HP, or the B3300su with 33 HP are an upgrade over the 30 HP of the B7800, plus the BH is is upgraded.

Actually the B7800 and B3200/3300 use the same engine, and put out the exact same power. Kubota just rates the newer models at a slightly higher RPM to make them look better on paper.
