The first picture is from my tractor. You can see where the lower plate piece has broken off. Anyone know the proper name or part number for that piece? I checked the online parts catalogs and couldn't come up with much. I have found the swinging draw bar kits online for $200+. Do those draw bars come in and out or are they supposed to stay in place?

The 2nd picture is just a picture I found online of what it's supposed to look like.

Your first picture was taken up too close. I don't see where anything broke. Back up and try again.

There is only one drawbar and it can be left off until needed.

Do you have welder or know of some? square off the break point and thicker steel than re weld.

If you have the broken off piece, it is a simple welding job to reattach it and maybe even put on a doubler plate at the break point. Evidently you have been excessively loading the drawbar in the downward position. There are limits of tongue weight applicable to a tractor drawbar just like a truck.

No I don't have the piece, the tractor came to me this way.

Thanks for the link. The price of the one without the drawbar is a little more tempting, assuming my non ford drawbar would attach to it. But I'd probably be better off just buying the whole assembly to make sure it fits right.
