Replacement Bulb number

Hi All.

I have a B3000 and the top Amber clearance light bulb is burnt out.

I have been instructed to Pop Off the cover using a very small screw driver or pick in the weep hole at the bottom of the light.

But once I get the cover off, I'd like to have a replacement bulb at the ready so I don't have to read the number, run to the store and back to put in the new bulb.

So.... does anyone know what the Bulb Number is for the light?

More than likely it's an 1156 or 1157, depending on if it's single or dual filament. If it has a low setting and a brighter flash, it's the 1157. Also would be two wires going to it, as well as the ground if it isn't case grounded.

Saw the same question asked on OTT by someone a couple thousand miles West of you.

It's been a long time since I looked at LED's for replacing standard bulbs. Back then it mattered how the LED would be mounted. For example, if the lamp would be mounted as in your lollipop it would be made to shine more through the sides of the bulb. If it would be in a tail light where the base pointed forward, it would shine more light out of the end.

I have a couple 1156LL in my tool drawer.

But I don't see any weep holes on the light.

Can I just pop it off with a screwdriver without damage?

It should pop right off... Mine would practically fall off just getting close to tree branches.
I replaced all incandescent bulbs with LEDs years ago, and trimmed over 10 amps off of the alternator load.
