Okay, I have a shot ignition switch in my b2710 (very similar to b2910 or b7800).
I have a new switch; however, I'm unable to access the backside of the panel. I think that I may need to remove the throttle lever to loosen the black rubber panel behind the gauge panel (sorry if I'm not using the correct terms). The lever appears to be the only thing keeping me from moving the cover, and it seems to be held in place by a pin or I'm not sure what? Not knowing what to do, I just need help knowing what to do to access the inside.
I'm afraid that I might do some damage here, soI stopped. I noticed 2 little slots at the top of the gauge panel. If I could pop that off that might give me access, but it doesn't want to 'pop'. Again, dealing with plastic parts and not wanting to damage anything in the process of accessing the inside of the compartment.
So perhaps some of you gents have some experience with this, either on a b2710 or similar tractor. Help would be appreciated!
