Repairing wet areas caused by trucks cutting donuts?

Is the doughnut area higher, lower or the same as the level of water in the pond?

Boy, a lot to reply to and a lot of good information.
No wetlands.
Definitely caused by truck damage
Definitely some clay in the soil. Will confirm at that spot specifically
There is a drainage ditch at the edge of the property about 40' or less from this area but it is lower than the berm at the edge of the pond.
Due to many factors, I don't think this area has been dry for years

Finally, why do I even need to mees with it? It is in a spot that is very inconvenient, blocking a trail path. What I may do is dig a very small retention pond in a convenient spot near this spot, drain to the retention and repair the path.

Might have to do a little experimentation first to see what will work. Thoughout the property, on the roads and homesite, etc, I will probably have need for something in the neighborhood of 20 dump truck loads of dirt.

Water's going to go where water wants to go. I would start by digging a swale or ditch off to the side and put that material in the low spot to raise it up some. See if that helps drain the area (it will take a while).

I am not living on the property yet and that will make it easier to spend time on these issues. The area I mentioned is low and I may be able to add dirt and then drain it into the nearby drainage ditch. I will update this as I work on it.
