Has anyone done this repair? My steering ram is getting quite loose and want to know how hard it is to do.

No but I know there was a recall done on mine as it was installed incorrectly at the factory.

Take it apart where the cylinder meets the tie rod. Should be some notches on the cylinder to counter hold with an open end wrench. This will keep you from having to reset your toe in.

The recall is on this MF forum, brackets were installed backwards I believe it was. Try search GC Recall?

I did a repair/modification on my 2300 last year. I'll try to get some pics of it tomorrow.
