Repair of Case 450 lift arm attachment

On the Case 450, the hyd lift arms for raising the blade on each side are attached to the blade by a couple of 5/8 inch bolts through an attachment to the blade. In doing some heavy land clearing, I managed to "pop" those two bolts on one side.

I backed out the broken bolts and replaced and popped them again...twice more. I seems that I have now caused the threads to be virtually stripped in the blade.

Would there be anything wrong with simply wielding the attachment to the blade frame material? It seems my other alternative would be to go with a larger size bolt and cut new threads, but just wielding it on seems like an easier way?

On a road construction workshop i worked, they had somthing called helicoils, that were put into an old thread and offered the new bolt enough grip.

You could also try soaking the bolts in loc-tite fixation, by the time you need those out, you can boil out the loc-tite with a torch pretty easy.
Going to the next bigger size of bolts doesnt sound like a bad idea though, considering they already broke 2 times now....
