removing the MMM

Bubbajr, I probably did not make it clear I was speaking of the 60 inch MMM common to the 7500, 7510, 7610 and 2410 and probably otrher models. Driving over this deck will cause the deck to bend at the support plate where the rear center wheels are attachd. Further, if you get of center on it the forward castor spindles could punch a hole into your oil pan it appears to me--I ain't gonna try it to find out. On the RH side there is also a bridge support that sits about where the front right wheels would have to pass if centered when going over it.
I cannot speak forthe guy with diesel sprayed on everything--I hate diesel and surely would not want it sprayed on my entire tractor, perhaps it was an older model that did have a drive over deck. There are drive over decks, the one common to the aforementioned tractors is not but as I said, anyone that has one is welcome to give it a try, some folks are not as particular as me /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif. Jim,

I have tried it in just about every position. The only way I can get the left rear to rotate without hitting the tread is to adjust the front of the mower higher (out of spec.).

I wonder if it depends on the brand of tire that is installed. The tires that came with my BX2200 are Power Lug MAXXIS.

I tried the drive over the deck on my old B-7200. I never did it again. It didn't bend anything that I could see but the deck was harder to hookup after that. Keep in mind that my tires were turf and were not loaded and I didn't have anything else of any weight on it so the machine was quite light and still did something to it.
I did read that the 72" deck is a drive over deck but my dealer doesn't reccomend doing that.
Henro, take your 2910 and pick the front of the BX up in the air and ease it backwards and presto your deck is off without any pulling or dragging. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

( The problem ... is that it is hard to rotate the left rear ... roller ... the wheel it hits on the tractor tire.)

I have a small stud about 2" long and slightly smaller in diameter than the pin in the left rear roller. I always push the pin in from the opposite side so that when removing it I can use the stud as a punch and with a small hammer, tap the pin toward the tire. There is just enough space for the pin to come out. Once the pin is out, the brass rod that the wheel is mounted on can be gently rotated back & forth & pulled down. When putting it back in, it doesn't seem as tight.

Boy, after reading all these posts, I realize that the removal and installation of my B2910's 60" deck is a cinch. All I need to do is turn the tractor's front wheels and slide it right out.
