Removing the Mahindra FEL

I was considering removing the FEL and trying to RE-attach it, just to see how difficult it is to do. Has anyone tried doing this? I have the ML112. I have heard that it is a knuckle buster. Is this true?

If it's anything like the ML108H that I have, it's pretty easy. I took mine off when I did my 50 hour service, not that I had to, I just thought it was time I tried it. I leave mine on all the time. It's found things that I didn't want my rotary cutter finding. I set it real low & curl the bucket back.

I'd be especially interested in how/what position it should be stored in order to facilitate reconnection. I think there is a leg inside the front cross brace tube that somehow mounts to the front of the tractor. May not be for disconnect, though.

My 3510 with ML112 is about a month old, but the loader manual was soaking wet and mostly illegible when I received it. The dealer is sending me a new one, but I haven't gotten it yet.

If anyone has a good on/off routine and storage suggestion, please post some pictures!

I just took my FEL off this evening to use my finish mower and it was very easy. The first time I had a lot of trouble and a little gun shy the second time so I used a chain fall. This time I used the leg again and it worked fine.

I like mowing without the FEL.

This time I took it off on concrete. Just make sure the ground is level.
