Removing 72" belly mower while tractor on trailer

I very rarely need to trailer my 955 and I've actually never removed the 72" belly mower so I'm hoping for some advice/insight from those who have b/c I'm "stuck" on trailer. My belly mower is caught on the right fender well of trailer and I can't back off trailer. It seems I loaded trailer slightly right of center and every time I try backing up the belly mower kinda jams on the top of the trailers wheel well. I think easiest thing would be to take belly mower off if I can slide it out the side which it appears I can do.

Has anyone ever taken 72" belly mower off and removed it from the side? Was also thinking another option would be to jack the tractor up and try centering it better on trailer?

Depends on the bed of the trailer.. a pic would help.

But better, IMO, to jack up and get square rather than remove the deck (especially for the first time routine)

I agree with beenthere. A pic would help.
How hard would it be to remove the fender? Would that give you the clearance needed?
Is the deck raised to its highest position?

Do you have a floor jack? Just lay a flat sheet of steel under the jack to make it easier to push around. Jack up the front and then the rear of the tractor and just slide it over a bit with the floor jack.

Gents - thanks for the common sense insight! Tractor is off trailer and mid mount mower is OFF tractor until next spring... Having MMM off tractor will give me chance to give mower some long overdue TLC - gonna get deck sandblasted and then repaint it, as well as sharpen or replace blades and belt....
