remove john deere 4310 front bucket shifter knob

Hi Guys,
my husband was wondering if anyone knows if you are able to remove the knob, that controls the lever for
shifting the front bucket up & down? If you are able to, how do you remove it?
We tried to remove it but could not remove the knob.

Are you adding an electric shift for the tilt to the joy stick for the front loader?

Thanks for your reply. My husband does want to add shift function for the tilt to the joystick. We are trying to figure out how to do this.
I am wondering if you have any suggestions for this? My husband wants to do the tilt function for the tractor.
