Has anyone removed swing cylinder on a deere 48 backhoe without removing the hoe? I am considering removing the plate below the hydraulic valve pack in order to facilitate removing the cylinders so I can replace the hydraulic lines. I can see no other way to remove the two lines side by side on the outboard side of the cylinders without removing them. Looks like clearance between the valve pack and the cyl. pin is adequate to remove the plate.
