Hello:
I am trying to remove the exhaust pipe on a 2014 JD 6105D. I need to do this in order to get access to the open crankcase ventilation (OCV) filter. One of the bolts of the bracket that holds the OCV filter housing is difficult to get to - I could not remove it even using a flex extension.
Please see attached figure. I plan on removing the three bolts 1 and I wonder if I should also remove the heat shield 5 in order to get to clamp 10 or if the exhaust pipe 8 will come out of pipe 9 without removing clamp 10. I am asking this because I cannot tell from the figure what clamp 10 is holding on.
I would appreciate any help I could get.
Thank you,
Paul
