My neighbor uses a Blink camera from Amazon that also monitors the temp. Data/video is uploaded to the cloud and is visible realtime or recorded on his smart phone. If motion is detected, or temp goes outside a window, he gets an alert and he can view what is happening real time. He says he can turn off camera monitoring via his phone when they are in the house. He likes the system and has it in all 3 of his homes. He says you buy the cameras and there is no fee for the cloud storage. Makes me wonder how Amazon gets paid for the cloud storage.
