Remote Hydraulics Install

I just called my dealer and was quoted $253 for the first remote control valve kit and $213 for the second one. Labor to install would be $45/hr and they said it would take about 1 1/2 hrs to install, so about $70. I didn't ask about the price of the cylinders yet. They're having a 10% off sale tomorrow, so I may just get it the valve kits and then shop around for cylinders. I'll install it myself though. $70 isn't bad, but I'll also have to pay for them to come out to my house, which would be about another $75, and that's outrageous for a 40 mile round trip!

That is a good price for the valve assembly. Most of the dealers are asking $400 now due a NH "price increase". You better get it now. I bought one from a dealer that had not raised the price yet also. They charged me 1 hr ($35) for the install while doing some other work. I am still looking for the perfect cylinder for the toplink... I will probably have it made.

I dont know what dealer is telling you there has been a price increase on the tc tractor valves. I can tell you for sure there has not been they still list for about 250.00. sounds like your dealer is taking advantage.

I ended up having the dealer install mine. Due to a deal I worked out for some warranty work, I didn't have pay for the transportation (it's a long story, see TC29D rear PTO lever moves). Anyway, I just thought I'd let everyone know that it took them 2 1/2 hours at $45/hour. The mechanic said it was the second one he installed and couldn't pick daisies to get it done in that much time. It sure is a nice setup! The tractor looks more complete now that there are levers in those slots.
