Release pressure from lifter

Hi folks-I have a 1742 and rubber against a small tree and quick context for lift was disengaged.
How would I release the pressure from the lifter/bucket system so I can reconnect the top line (quick connect) as too much pressure is in the line and cannot lower or raise bucket.
Was the top line-must be the lift/lowering line as can curl bucket-just cannot get it down or release pressure.

If its a male end QC and has ball as valve (seal). you can cover with rag and tap (lightly ) with hammer and it will squirt a bit of oil out and release pressure....Loader probably should be supported though to keep line from repressurizing as weight of loader remain on hydraulic line... TO release pressure on tractor side shut down tractor and move valve levers (Joystick) around and it will release pressure on tractor side....

You might make a ”prop” to insert under the bucket, to hold the weight of the loader so you don’t need to vent out too much valuable oil. A 2X6 would probably be sufficient.
You might be able to use your curl to take the pressure off of the lift cylinders by inserting said prop under bucket and using curl to “lift” the loader arms.
You might ge able to drive up to a tree or a suitable building and jam the loader against it to hold the lift arms. Don’t forget to set the brakes, HARD, to hold the tractor in position.
Then, bleed out oil as described above. Definitely use the rag as you bump the coupler against something solid. Probably need to insert some kind of slug into the coupler to depress the center seal thingy. Maybe a 1/2” bolt a couple inches long, a chunk of dowel, small screwdriver handle, etc....
