Regional Forums - visibility if you are not log in.

Just wondering why Regional Forums can be seen only if the person is log in. I assuming the low traffic in these forums is because people are checking just the new posts without log-in. I'm doing myself this most of the time so I can't see the Canada forum. Can be setup to be visible without be forced to log in?

It can be if the site owner sets it to be that way. It was setup that way so that when people were arranging a regional get-together, they could post location info without it being visible to non-members.

We feel that in light of the fact that some personal information may from time to time be exchanged in the regional forums, it is safer if we keep them invisible to unregistered visitors.

Thanks Aaron. Good idea but even like that I would not recommend in today society to post any personal information in any forums. Even with a register process in place like this, "the bad guy" can register in the forum without any issue, so this is one of the reasons why I'm using PM for sensitive info.

I agree. If I were to host such an event at my property, I would have people PM me for the address...
