I just finished my second regen on my MX5800. The first one occurred at exactly 30.0 hours and the second at 60.0 hours. The owners manual led me to believe that the regen cycle was dependent on sensors in the particulate filter and exhaust system, not hours. Is this just a coincidence? Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Based on my mx4800, it's just coincidence.

My MX5200 regenerated at the following hours: 19, 38, 52 & 66.
Between 0 and 19 I took it easy on the tractor. Between 20 and 38 I ran it a 2000 rpm's moving dirt. From 38 to 52 I bush hogged with it at pto speed. Between 52 and 66. I used the loader to move dirt at 2000 rpm. I see no ryme or reason.

I think it just comes down to usage. My 4800 did first regen I think at 46ish hours, and now at 65 and hasn't done a second regen. Most of my hours are at PTO speed which by all accounts decreases frequency.
