I'd like to get a tractor for my new 5 acre home. I've narrowed it down to the CK2610 or CT2025. I had planned on waiting until next year, but I see that both bobcat and kioti have some really nice financing offers going on right now (0% for 84) that I don't want to miss out on. My question is, are these typical offers that i could count on being around next spring, or are these unusual (for unusual times) and I should jump on sooner than later?

The offers are for the unusual times we are now in. If these unusual times continue until next year, the offers may last until next year. I doubt either will happen.

Kioti had the 0% for 84 months when I bought my tractor last August. I'm pretty sure it's been offered ever sense.

Bobcat had a very attractive interest rate when I bought my E42 excavator about a year ago. I paid cash instead so I got about a $3.5k discount on a $65k purchase.

When shopping for a tractor in 2012 the candidates included Bobcat. At that time period they were quickly in and out of the tractor business selling a white version of the Kioti. Tractors were pretty much the same but the loader frames differed. For some reason the dealer wasn't really interested in selling me a tractor, so I bought a new Kubota L3200.

Doosan (South Korea) bought Bobcat two or three years ago, maybe five years ago? They make Bobcat's tractors as far as I know, compact equipment is made in the USA. Bobcat used to use Kubota engines in their equipment, my 2019 E42 mini-ex uses a Doosan engine, they are a major equipment manufacturer in Asia.

Most of ct2025 is a KIOTI with a bobcat fel. Bobcat said zero percent ends this month. Not sure if it will be reupped. My guess is yes. Note a free fel is offered if you pay cash so if you have another finance route may be better

The free FEL option is what I did with my Kioti. The 0/84 was available, but knowing I'd have it paid off WELL before the 7 year mark, I saved a few grand with the 'free' FEL.

Its pretty much the new norm now. Just as it will be with vehicles.

There is no free lunch. o% or $4000 (or however much ) cash back isn't really zero. When there is little or no interest rate, the cash back won't be as great. When there are higher interest rates, the cash back will often be higher. There were a lot of threads about this in the Kubota section lately, some buyers just couldn't understand that paying several thousand bucks more to get zero isn't always such a hot deal. If companies have gobs of unsold merchandise on hand you might see low interest AND a lot of cash back. You should watch prices and deals waiting for a good combination to occur.

I would not finance a tractor period unless you are using it for a business. Even then personally I wouldn’t but I can see how some would. Tractors for most are not necessary. They are very handy and very useful and I wouldn’t be without one but I wouldn’t go into debt to buy one.

I've already made a purchase on a brand other then Kioti but I'm curious. When I was shopping for a subcompact I went to Kioti's site. I couldn't find anything there as far as building your own and at least getting MSRP like I could for 3 other brands. The local Bobcat dealer has some Kiotis on his lot but I didn't want to go through whole sales experience at the time so I never checked in with them.
Does Kioti's site not offer this or did I overlook something somehow?

Yep. It's worth mentioning that there is always the third option, which we are lucky to have. Rather than paying cash or financing, a person can always choose to get an older or broken tractor for little or nothing and spend time fixing it up. Spend a little money over time instead of obligating for dept or spending big money up front.

The basic components of a tractor haven't changed much in the last 50 years. Parts tend to be available and cheap. These are simple mechanical devices that require simple tools. Go back 15 years or more and also avoid the difficulties of expensive and restricted access software and emissions.

Except in special rare cases, ther attachments that tractors hook to: the hydraulics, PTOs, and 3pt hitches..... were all standardized generations ago and haven't changed at all. So you can also use a wide variety of new or old attachments with any year tractor. Attachments tend to sit out in the weather and look beat up from being dragged through the dirt, but other than paint most will work the same as newer ones. Used attachments are even less expensive than used tractors are.

The point being that nobody has to spend a lot of money or go into big debt to have a nice tractor. There is another way.

Kioti does not offer a build your own option. Some Kioti dealers will post ads with prices on the tractorhouse.com/ website.

Thanks. Then it wasn't just a faulty effort on my part.
