Well I founda number of problems. The freezer wasnt cold as it should. I couldnt hear the fan after Amy cleared it out. The ice maker is disconnected from the water source so I removed it and the fan cover/ cooler duct had ice in it. I used our old hair dryer to thaw it. I stuck my finger in there and moved the fan back and it moved forward and stopped. I then thawed it a bit more and the fan started on its own and was grinding on something like fan housing. It was another chunk of ice. When it all got thawed I noticed that the clips that hold the duct to the back wall and lower compart ment had big cracks in them. They broke when I removed it The whole thing was covered in ice back there.
I havent got time to test it this week Im getting ready to go take my yearly landfill operators exam. I did find that the verticle seal on my fridge door was gone. My wife now realized that the toy her Great Dane pup had wasnt junk from the scrap pile lol. Im gonna look a little further when I return tomorrow. The top and bottom now are working like a champ. I put the duct back in place with the shanks of the clips in the right spot and just cut a small wooden wedge to hold it tight against the fan opening andfreezer shelf.
