Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about the Red Copper pans they're advertising on TV and a website?

Red Copper™ | Official Site | Revolutionary Non-Stick Ceramic Copper Cookware! - As Seen on TV

No sticking, even with little or no oil, can use metal utensils, including a mixer, lifetime warranty, etc., etc. Sure sounds good and now Bed, Bath and Beyond has the stuff, Walmart has some of it. It's sure a temptation to buy a set.

I bought a couple of the ceramic ones when they first came out. Absolutely amazing, nothing woiuld sstick....for a few days. Wasn't long before everything would stick.

I'll stay with the teflon ones until they are banned.

I almost bought one on their web site, then noticed for about $5 more ,you can get one with double coating. Red flag went up-why do you need double coating????

Right after I posted the question, I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond's website and found a number of posted reviews that agree with you. I guess it's another of those things which "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." I was sure impressed by their TV ads and website, but my wife was skeptical enough to keep me from placing an order. And I reckon she was right.

Sounds good for the mower deck, the cookware, not so much. Nothing like good old cast iron cookware.

J know the spray wasn't for cooking ware. We still use cast iron cooking ware used by my parents. and still no sticking .
These fast talking salesman on tv that will sell you something for only 19.95 + shipping and handling but wait for only paying the shipping handling will get two . if so good why need the second.

There is a use for large copper pans here to make sorghum. burning the pitch pine from stumps for the high heat needed to boil off the liquid for the syrup. some have converted to propane burners.

Doesn't need a salesman to sell either.

Funny thing about the ceramic.
When it starts to stick...
Scrub it really well... not a brillo or metal scrubber.
And they become non stick again.
The sticking is to residue in the pan... not the pan itself.

Anyone notice that except for the presenters, all the commercials for the Red Copper, Green Ceramic, etc, are all the same?

My wife bought a couple of the copper ceramic pans a couple of months ago. She loves them and uses them constantly. So far nothing has stuck to them. Time will tell.

Or stick with teflon where just a wipe with a paper towel does the job.

Seems to me that if the sticking is to residue in the pan, then the residue is sticking . Appears that sticking is still sticking .

We bought some of the ones with the white ceramic coating. They worked great for a few weeks. Then everything started sticking. Wife called the company and found out that using certain common things on them voided the warranty. In our case it was PAM that we had used to flavor something.

We have had the best luck with the cheap Teflon coated skillets purchased at SAM'S CLUB. Have noticed that on nearly all local cooking shows the chefs are using these. Plus they are cheap enough it doesn't hurt if you have to replace one. Thanks to all who have commented on this thread. Great to know other's experiences with products.

Same kind of feedback on amazon, we needed some new non stick pans and ended up ordering the T-Fal ultimate hard anodized ( titanium) coated set.
So far they have been completely stick free six months? now and look just like they did when arrived.
My only 2 complaints are that T - fal doesn't warranty them if you crank the heat up much over 1/2 and that the big fry pan does not accept the glass lid from the 5 quart dutch oven.
