Reclining Chairs ?? Any manufacture make a good one?

I can recommend Seatcraft Equinox. These are not the cheapest ones, but they are definitely heavy-duty. The quality of materials used and the build is high, and you can really see what you’ve paid $2000 for. Such chairs have been in my house for more than 10 years now, and they still look just like they were new, and the massage function still works well.
I think that this is the best recliner for watching tv that I have ever tried. None of my friends have a better chair, and I know that for sure because I’ve tried all their chairs many times. Only Seatcraft can make me fall asleep in under 15 minutes.

I buy many things online. But a recliner is like shoes or boots, i have to try them on first.

For most of my life 12 D's was my foot size.
Now with 'offshore' brands I only look at 13/14 and even then a comfortable fit is rare.
For sure I'd never buy footwear on line.

I ordered two Scandinavian type recliners/ottomans from one of those type of stores. They weren't their top of the line, but seemed like a good price for leather. Turns out, that "leather" is some composite fabric where one of the components is leather, but the fabric itself has a polymeric feel to it. They might have even had a trademark for the fabric that suggested leather. I swear I woulda notice that on the showroom model.

The other thing against them, and maybe that type of recliner in general- when you recline the back, the seat stays horizontal. My more comfortable traditional recliner has a seat that reclines as the back reclines. More support for your knees.

My dad said that you can't judge comfort in a showroom unless you sit there for an hour.
