Recall 3203 JD Compacts

Apparently JD is recalling 5400 3203 Models because the forward-drive pedals can become stuck. These tractors were sold between September 2005 and December 2007.
Seven failure incidents have been reported but NO injuries.

I received the recall notice Saturday for my 3203. Check the 4 bolts holding the plastic pedals to the metal linkage, they back out and catch on the floor, thus causing the tractor to keep moving when you release your foot from the pedal. The funny thing about this, I found the problem last summer about 6 hrs on tractor. I fixed mine in less than 30 seconds with a simple allen wrench and locktite. It is a little scary when it happens, as my wife found out also. Luckily no damage to the shop or anything. Maybe other owners with similar pedals should take a minute to check theirs also, could save a lot of problems, or damage later.
