Hello everyone. This is my first post so please excuse my miss spelling. Im very old and trying to restore my 821C, which is a comercial version of an 800 tractor. I rebuilt the engine a couple of years ago completely, but a lot of other jobs pushed the project back a couple of years. The engine sat on a stand covered up in the back of my shop. The rest sat outside. I finally rolled the rear section into the shop and mated the engine to it. I then rolled the front wheel section in and bolted it to the engine, attached the steering rods and the big ones with the balls. My problem is the tractor wasn't level. So I thought maybe the Rear tires were over inflated, which I added air before I rolled it in, not checking pressure. I checked and book said 12 lbs. I took the cores out of the rear tires to let the air out and start over. With the air all out, the engine still has a slope down appearance. It's only level when I put a floor jack under the transmission area and raise it level, then the front wheels are 4 inches off the floor. I thought maybe I bolted the front end upside down, but it can bolt only on one way. Can anyone here tell me what I did wrong?
Thanks for any help Max
