rebuild or replace

I have a 87 Honda HT3810, probably the last year for the 10 hp and air cooled. Threw the con rod and bent the rod, slightly, but will need to replace rod and possibly grind crank.
Question:: Are there other options for replacing the engine, this is horizontal and shaft driven with the clutch/pully for the deck mounted on front of engine Thanks
