Rebuild hydraulic pump

I am new to hydraulics and I currently have a f550 with a dump bed. The pump seems to be getting a little played out and wondering how difficult it is to clean and rebuild it possibly. Is it worth my time and money or should I just buy a new pump??

usually pending on the age it's hard to find parts and if you do aged or not it usually costs almost as much or a pretty large percentage of the cost to replace them. i recently replaced the pump on an f350 with a muncie for a few hundred bucks. i only had a small amount of modifying to do.. since it was an old setup. commercial still makes a reasonably priced pump also.
