Wow, you hauled 1,000lbs on your Rhino? Don't think mine would handle that. No way it would self dump it.

My RTV will work circles around my Rhino.
We hand pull to the rear of the bed until 2 of us can assist and get it to dump.

We came up with the 1000 lbs per load based on 10 tons bought, 21 loads from up here to the camp site to move it all.

I've had some stacked loads of wood on my Rhino that didn't weigh anywhere near 1K and it was not happy.

The RTV doesn't mind and will drag a log too.

No doubt that the bed is larger on the Kubota and therefore will hold more wood, gravel or rocks. But what I'm saying about the Rhino is that it has done me so well for the last 12 years that I would hope to get similar reliability from what I've seen from this thing.

I have always over loaded, over towed, over pushed and flat out asked more from this machine than it likely was intended to give. Yet it's given 110% for all this time and has never broke.

Today I moved some wood. This would be my topical way of loading it. I lost until I can't find a way to stack more...

So from the feedback here, it doesn't sound as if the RTV has any glaring issues nor any real performance and value matched competitors. So looking at the feedback here, it really looks like the collective brain says to go ahead and plan for the Kubota RTV 1120 or 1140 to join me this spring.20181227_114539.jpeg20181227_114550.jpeg20181227_114606.jpeg20181227_114623.jpeg20181227_115042.jpeg20181227_115042.jpeg

A few months ago I got a used 20 hour RTV X 1100C, it's a really nice machine but the two things I with were better is the top speed and cab noise isolation. Mine came with a plow and the power dump..as well as the heat and AC, and a stereo. .. I bought it for 18k which I thought was a good enough deal to jump on.

I think it's over and I'm set on my path. I'll have one with a plow and cab and then it's over until I die. I feel that being kept inside like my Rhino has always been, these Kubota machines should make it the next 35 years or so that I'll need them.

So far as I know the RTV-X1120 is the only diesel side by side with factory AC.

The John Deere 865 is a full HVAC diesel machine.

I have the gas version and it’s a sweet rig.

Just curious Ortimber....how does the price of the air conditioned 865 compare to the RTV-X1100C?

I tried looking on the John Deere build and price but I could not find AC?
